Training Location Trainees will be assigned to various locations within NLC India Limited, Neyveli for their training.
SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS & Ex-servicemen candidates will receive reservation and relaxations as per the guidelines set by the Government of India.
Candidates belonging to EWS/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen categories must upload valid certificates issued by the Competent Authority. Certificate formats can be downloaded from the “Forms” tab on the Careers Page of NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in.
Candidates from the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category should upload a valid OBC (NCL) certificate in the prescribed format (as per DOPT Memo No.36036/2/2013-Estt. (Res.) dated 30-05-2014) obtained from the competent authority. They must also produce a valid OBC (NCL) certificate obtained on or after 01.04.2023 from the competent authority during the document verification process. Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) should upload a valid Income & Asset certificate issued by the competent authority as per OM No.36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.19 of DoPT, Ministry of PPG&P, Govt. of India. They must also produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections obtained on or after 01.04.2023 from the competent authority during the document verification process.
The category (EWS/SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-servicemen) selected in the online application form cannot be changed, and no benefits of other categories will be admissible later on.
If there are insufficient candidates available to fill up training slots reserved for any of the reserved categories (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS), the unfilled slots may be allocated to candidates from the unreserved category or other reserved categories based on merit order to optimize the utilization of training slots.
Selection of applicants for training will be done through a written test.
Allocation of Training Slots for PAPs:
Medical Fitness: Before being engaged under the training scheme, every provisionally selected trainee must undergo a Pre-Engagement Medical examination conducted by the Company’s Medical Officer. The selection is subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the prescribed health standards of NLCIL for the training scheme.
