Training Location Trainees will be assigned to various locations within NLC India Limited, Neyveli for their training.

Reservation and Relaxation:

SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS & Ex-servicemen candidates will receive reservation and relaxations as per the guidelines set by the Government of India.

 

Candidates belonging to EWS/OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen categories must upload valid certificates issued by the Competent Authority. Certificate formats can be downloaded from the “Forms” tab on the Careers Page of NLCIL website www.nlcindia.in.

 

Candidates from the OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category should upload a valid OBC (NCL) certificate in the prescribed format (as per DOPT Memo No.36036/2/2013-Estt. (Res.) dated 30-05-2014) obtained from the competent authority. They must also produce a valid OBC (NCL) certificate obtained on or after 01.04.2023 from the competent authority during the document verification process. Candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) should upload a valid Income & Asset certificate issued by the competent authority as per OM No.36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.19 of DoPT, Ministry of PPG&P, Govt. of India. They must also produce a valid Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections obtained on or after 01.04.2023 from the competent authority during the document verification process.

 

The category (EWS/SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Ex-servicemen) selected in the online application form cannot be changed, and no benefits of other categories will be admissible later on.

 

If there are insufficient candidates available to fill up training slots reserved for any of the reserved categories (OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS), the unfilled slots may be allocated to candidates from the unreserved category or other reserved categories based on merit order to optimize the utilization of training slots.

 

 

Selection Method:

Selection of applicants for training will be done through a written test.

  • Final selection will be based on the overall total score obtained by the candidates in the selection process, with due reservation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories.
  • In case of a tie at the cut-off level, where multiple candidates score the same marks (out of 100), the following criteria will be applied in sequence to resolve the tie:
  • Date of Birth: The senior-most candidate(s) by age will be given higher placement.
  • Alphabetical Order: The first name of the candidates will be arranged in alphabetical order.

Allocation of Training Slots for PAPs:

  • 25% of the training slots will be allocated to awardees whose awards were passed before 01-01-2014.
  • 25% of the training slots will be allocated to awardees whose awards were passed from 01-01-2014 to 30-06-2022. 7.4.3 50% of the training slots will be allocated to awardees whose awards were passed from 01-07-2022 onwards. 7.4.4 Awardees of land awards passed prior to 30-06-1989 are not eligible to apply for the training scheme.

Medical Fitness: Before being engaged under the training scheme, every provisionally selected trainee must undergo a Pre-Engagement Medical examination conducted by the Company’s Medical Officer. The selection is subject to the candidate being found medically fit as per the prescribed health standards of NLCIL for the training scheme.

How To Apply:

  • Candidates are required to apply exclusively through the online mode on the official website of NLC India Limited at www.nlcindia.in. It is essential for candidates to have a valid and active mobile number and personal email ID throughout the selection process, as all training-related communications from NLCIL will be sent via SMS and email.
  • To establish their eligibility, candidates must upload scanned copies of self-attested documents and certificates in the prescribed format. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of the application.
  • If candidates are applying for more than one training scheme, they should submit separate Registration-cum-Application Forms along with the necessary enclosures for each scheme.
  • Each candidate should submit only one application for a specific training scheme. In the case of multiple applications or registrations, only the last registered application will be considered for further processing.
  • Candidates are advised to ensure that they have uploaded all the required documents before submitting their applications. An option to view the uploaded documents will be provided on the online portal for verification purposes.
  • After uploading the necessary documents and certificates, candidates should submit their applications online. They should also take a printout of the registration cum application form and bring it, along with self-attested copies of certificates and documents, during the Document/Certificate verification process.
  • The scrutiny of applications and shortlisting of candidates will be based solely on the documents and certificates uploaded at the time of registration and online application submission.
  • Manual or paper applications will not be accepted, and candidates are requested not to send any hard copies to the office.
  • The online application portal for registration will be active from 09/06/2023, 10:00 hours, to 08/07/2023, 17:00 hours.
